The Islamic Front is a rebel group in Kota Kambular, Phaluhm Phoueck seeking the Islamicfication of Phaluhm Phoueck or Kambular and Magazena as early as the 1980s. The group has a persistance on the Greater Phaluhm.

Memorandum of Understanding[]
On October 24th 2009, the Supreme Court of Phaluhm Phoueck issued a temporary restraining order, preventing the government and the Islamic Front from officialy sigining the Memorandum of Understanding which would conclude all disputes and begin formal talks with the government such as apply Shariah law for Muslims is they agree. The government might also give Kambular and other regions some autonomy under the concept of human rights and a right to establish a police force and control natural resources.
Over the next month, several IF commanders were tagged by government officials as they launched an offensive campaign as some buildings around Phaluhm Phoueck was targeted. This responded by the Phaluhm Army sending out ten battalions comprised of 4,000 soldiers into Kambular and Magazena. The violence displaced over 20,000 people and left about 125 dead.
Peace Talks[]
On October 12th 2012, Prime Minister Royna Nehgyen announced a peace deal with the IF. The deal was signed on October 19th 2012 and it would grant semi-independence to Kambular and Magazena with its own police force and sharia law only for Muslims only. In exchange, the IF will stop violence and armed movements and would let the government control national security and foregin policy.
