Rodiac Foods v. Kaliybatan is a historic trial in the Phaluhm Supreme Court that started July 20, 2003 and ended on August 26. The Kaliybatan Group accused Sam Rodiac and his so-named company 'Rodiac Foods' of copyright/trademark infringement. Rodiac had started a restaurant named 'Taco Trio' which, the Kaliybatan Group claimed, infringed on their 'Pizzeria Trio' trademark. As a result, Just Judge Rina Mataytay declared Rodiac Foods guilty of all charges. Rodiac was fined and forced to cease operating the business, which he refused, and therefore it was closed by the government.
